Short answer

Kreyzl’s wedding route starts at Lower Semine Mill: Materia Prima, Forbidden Fruit, then Opus Magnum. Entering the wedding happens partway through Opus Magnum; finding the book comes later.

Practical route

  1. 1 Materia Prima: carry flour sacks, take the optional training and steal the document from the Troskowitz Rathaus jail chest. A guard’s key is an alternative to its Very Hard lock.
  2. 2 Forbidden Fruit: find Bonnie southeast of the mill, then join gravedigger Ignatius’s dawn rounds to locate saltpetre. Bonnie can take the dog instead of you killing it.
  3. 3 Opus Magnum: recruit Enneleyn at the Nomad Camp. Bring Mintha perfume, an appropriate dress and wine, then have the tailor check your own wedding outfit.
  4. 4 After the wedding and For Whom the Bell Tolls, ask scribe Erazim in Trosky Castle about Nikvard and the book.
  5. 5 Follow the privy lead outside the castle: Nikvard’s body and Lightbringer’s Secret are below the guardhouse. Return the book to Kreyzl and follow him to the lair.

Where players commonly stop

If Enneleyn rejects your clothes, use the tailor’s outfit check before buying more. If the book objectives are not accessible yet, advance the required castle story rather than searching every chest at the wedding.

A consequential optional report

Reporting Kreyzl to Bailiff Thrush and agreeing to spy changes the final outcome for the miller and his companions. Decide before completing the book handover; it is not merely an extra reward conversation.
